  • Trying to read D70F3379 with UPA.

    Hi everyone,
I am trying to read D70F3379 with UPA.

I get connection with device ID but get 2 errors everytime I try to read.

It is in a Fiat 00518525990 BCM, I have attached a photo of a diagram I found and converted the pinout to UPA.

Is there something else I need to do please?

    Many thanks,

    Jules.

Reading a D70F3379 with UPA requires precision. Ensure your connections are accurate per the diagram, double-checking against the original pinout. Verify that power supply and ground connections are stable. The errors might stem from poor contact or incorrect wiring. Confirm if there are specific steps for initiating read mode on the UPA software. Additionally, consider the state of the D70F3379 chip; it might be damaged or protected. If problems persist, consult online forums or seek assistance from experienced technicians familiar with UPA tools and Fiat BCMs for insights into potential issues or workarounds.
