Carprotool.com reserves the right to make changes to the Privacy Policy.

Every user carprotool.com is bound by the current Privacy Policy. Any changes introduced do not affect the basic principle: carprotool.com does not sell and does not provide third parties with personal or address data of users.


Server logs

Using the Forum involves sending queries to the server on which the Forum is stored. Such queries are saved in the server logs (these are, among others, the User's IP address, server date and time). These data are not associated with specific people using the Forum and are not used by the Administrator to identify the User.

Cookies ("cookies")

The forum uses only functional cookies and necessary for the proper functioning of the website. Cookies are used once during a session or stored to preserve user settings. Cookies are never passed on to third parties.

Processing and protection of users' personal data

1. To access publicly available materials on the website, access at an anonymous guest level is sufficient. Providing data for the purpose of setting up an account by the User and using this account is voluntary, however, the consequence of not providing data will be the inability to set up an account at the Forum.

2. The Administrator does not require Users to provide any personal data - such as name, surname, address of residence or other identification data. The only registration requirement is the e-mail address. Registration and logging in to the site is a voluntary decision of the User, as a result of which he can get full access to the Forum's capabilities. Only the necessary information is required during the registration process:
- username (does not have to, it should not be related to your name)
- password
- e-mail address (entering an incorrect e-mail address will make it impossible to complete the registration process)

3. Users' data are processed only for the purposes for which they were collected, i.e.
- In order for the Users to use the Forum. The basis for the processing of personal data for this purpose is the consent of the User to set up an account and the processing of his personal data for this purpose (legal basis: Article 6 paragraph 1 letter a Regulation of European Parliament and Council (EU) 2016/679 of 27 April 2016 on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data and the repeal of Directive 95/46 / EC (hereinafter "RODO").
- In order to implement the legitimate interests of the Administrator (legal basis of Article 6 (1) (f) of the RODO), and in particular for backup purposes, necessary to ensure the security of data collected at the Forum.

4. The Administrator will process Users' data for the duration of the User's account on the Forum. The data of the User whose account has been deleted may be stored by the Administrator on a backup copy until the copy has been updated.

5. Users' data may be transferred only to entities that process data on behalf of the Administrator (eg entities providing hosting services, ie the Hostagator company) only on the basis of an agreement with the Administrator, where such entities process data as subcontractors and only at the express instruction of the Administrator.

6. The Administrator informs that all Forum Users have the following rights resulting from the RODO:
- The right to inspect your personal data
- The right to edit your personal data when the data is incorrect or incomplete
- The right to request the deletion of personal data (the so-called "right to be forgotten") - anonymization of the account
- The right to demand restricting the processing of your personal data

7. All User's requests resulting from his rights should be directed to the Administrator's contact address.
