  • 2008 BMW 128I can't clean up errors

    BMW can't remove errors
This is very unusual I cleared crash several times and it still clearing crash if I do it again!!! If the module doesn't have crash on it I get notice from the program telling me ( no crash on his module or can't find crash....) but on this one it keeps going on bad couldn't erase the errors on bench or OBD 2 or using Autel scanner.. also I noticed it take long time to access part number or other processes to finish the direction or clean up
This car doesn't have any deployed airbags or seats belts....

I just opened the SRS module and found that the. Eeprom number is different than the one came up at the carprotool when I used the part number printed on the module!!!!! 95128. Not 95640.

I think the reason is the airbag can service tool work on the module as it has 9564 but it is 95128
Because when I used Airbag service tool I couldn't find the part number to this SRS module and it won't clear crash correctly and won't able to remove errors too .. carprotool need to fix this problem

The problem with EEPROM will be fixed in the next update.
Clear Errors works on the bench, so I don't see the problem.
Install the SRS unit on the car and perform diagnostics.

It doesn't clear the errors it still registered on the module on bench or OBD and for clearing the crash you think if the type is different it will get clear ??? One 8 and the other 16 !!
What if the crash still there ?????

For "Clearing Crash by OBD" this is irrelevant.
I checked your file, it is clean.
