You have fixed error P062F:49-8B - !!! CONTROL MODULE INTERNAL FAILURE !!! (Internal electronic failure) in the latest SRS unit VA40-57K30.

              2023 MAZDA CX50
              Module: VA40-57K30
Hello, good morning. I have the exact same problem.

I've checked the soldering three times; everything is fine, and there's no short circuit in the capacitors.

When I install the module in the vehicle, it works fine for about 10 minutes. After that, the car displays many alerts (the car was only brought in for the airbag warning; no other alerts were illuminated).

              Codes:
              P062F:49
              B00D2:29
              B00D5:29

I ordered a new module from the dealership for the customer. I don't have MDARS files, so I decided to use another token by loading the clean files via AST. However, I've already lost two tokens and haven't solved anything. I have an angry customer, and I can't flash the original file because I'll lose more tokens.

I get the same result with both modules. It's not a soldering problem; it's a programming problem.

I've attached the high-quality images and the files it generated.

Currently, it no longer allows me to clear fault codes on the SRS unit.

And I have a very upset client. I would greatly appreciate your help. Thank you in advance!

With the first SRS module (the original one from the car), a bypass error occurred. Upon re-interception, it read normally.

With the second SRS module (the new one from the dealership), no bypass error occurred.

Both modules displayed the same codes after 10 minutes.

                    Any solutions?
For now, I have the car to try, but the problem is that I lose a token with every attempt, and I've already lost two without any luck. Thanks.

There are no airbag errors, so it's 100% some kind of soldering problem, most likely a short circuit on the Bosch driver or the MCU.

With the last SRS unit, you forgot to clear the EEPROM.

I've checked the soldering several times. The car works fine for 10 minutes, then it shows these errors.
I tried a completely new module from the dealership, flashed its files, and the exact same thing happened. How do you explain that? The strange thing is that it's not just me, and they won't return the tokens.

Now I have a frustrated customer, a car with all the warning lights, and I need a new module and MDARS.

It can't be that the exact same thing happens with two modules. Any help?

I programmed the eeprom 95256 in both modules using an external programmer

You did not perform on-bench diagnostics before starting to read the MCU.

There is no internal error in the last file, just crash data in the history because you did not clear the EEPROM.

I did the diagnostic on the car, and I did flash the 95256 firmware with the files.

But why did the exact same thing happen on the second module? It's completely new, except it required initialization with MDARS, and since I don't have it, I opted to flash the files generated by AST.

I don't think it's a problem; they can return the tokens.

At least I'll flash the original file to keep things the same.
