  • Smart OBD adapter 3.3V

    Hi,

I received 10 units for KeyServiceTool as a gift with my last order. Until now, I was using the adapter for airbags only , so I had never try the 3.3V output.
I am not able to connect to a used Opel key which I use as lab rat
After trying to find what's wrong I notice that when I try to re-write the key eeporm, the LED at SmartOBD adapter does not light up (is this normal?) & I am not getting 3.3V !

Please advice me... I consume 7 units trying it to work...

You last order + 1 month KST and IMMO
Please Post you KEY PCB Photo!
And You wired connection! If PCB support and you correct connection all must work!

      Happy new Year !!!

      Opel 13.188.281

Power at the back side. When I Click "Do it" and I have a multimeter connected parallel to the 3.3V output , I do not get 3.3V reading.... I get something like 0.5V. Then, I test to Click "Do it" without having the power connected to key. Once again I do not get 3.3V output

Now I am testing with that connection (power at the back side). Fixed connection.jpg I still have problem. My adapter does not output 3.3V, neither the red LED lights up.
