  • BMW 440i – Airbag/SRS Not Listed – Inquiry About Resetting Crash/Impact Data

    Hello, good morning.

I’m working with a BMW airbag module that does not appear in the tool’s list.

    Vehicle details:
    • Make/Model: BMW 440i
    • VIN/Chassis: WBA4E3103HG186331
    • Engine: B58B30A
    • AIRBAG/SRS module details (label):
    • Type: Domain Control Unit 2.1 (AIRBAG)
    • BMW PN: 6882969
    • Bosch PN: 0 265 020 845
    • Version: V-7.3
    • Label ID: IC688296901Q_ERNH1623002118
    • Code/Date: 160817
    Request:

I would like to know if it is possible to clear/reset the crash/impact data in this module.

    Attachments:
    • Photo of the module label
    • Photos of the PCB (both sides) and connectors
Thank you, and I look forward to your reply.

To my knowledge, the image doesn't show the airbag control unit. It should have a serial number starting with 65.77. The airbag control unit can be in different locations according to bmw models. However, in our bmw model, it was near the gas pedal. best regards
