    Check Your SmartOBD hardware version.

        I'm not sure exactly which resistor needs to be removed, as it is not clearly shown in the thumbnail.
        AirBag CAN service tool v11.24

        Interestingly, I was able to connect to a 2019 Mercedes-Benz Sprinter using this Service CAN tool months ago, and I recall that it utilized CAN2.
        If I can't get it to communicate, does that mean this module could be defective?
        It does connect in the car via a scanner, but there is 15 DTC, on this Mini Cooper.

        Is there another way to communicate to it, ie. CAN H / L ?

          Run "SmartOBD Test" in AirbagCANServiceTool.

            I'm sorry, I don't see the Button or option for Smart OBD Test in the Airbag CANService Tool.

            I only have . Auto Detect, DO it, Update Units, Refresh.

            Can you please direct me to this option?

              "SmartOBD Test" is the option in the list, fourth from the beginning.
              Make the connection as shown in the picture and click "Do it".

                Oh, I see what you mean. I just typed SmartOBD in the list search window, and there it was, the procedure to test the CAN bus. Thank you.
                However, that probably means that either the connection to the SRS module is incorrect or the SRS module is faulty. Please see the attached photo of the results of trying to communicate to the module.

                The Smart OBD Test is:

                --------------------------------------------------------
                Test connection CAN1 -> CAN2... ok
                Test connection CAN2 -> CAN1... ok

                  I did notice that the module PIN Side Connector looks different from the one posted on SmartOBD CAN Service tool. Could you please confirm if the pin for CAN2H and power are the same?

                  You're help would be greatly appreciated.

                    The connection pinout should be correct.
                    Maybe the SRS unit is damaged.
