AST CAN SMART OBD cannot connect to CAN_FD Adapter anymore

I have tried few different Toyota RH850 R7F701644 SRS units and always have this issue which started 3 days ago:

Toyota Denso 89170-08210 (CANFD on bench) R7F701644
--------------------------------------------------------
Turn on 3/5V on the adapter... ok
CANFD Adapter Connect... failed
